You’ll need an engineer’s report, a CVRT inspection, and must update your tax and insurance details to reclassify the vehicle as a camper. The process can involve paperwork, but it’s straightforward once the build meets the right standards. We provide our clients with all the correct paperwork needed to change the converted van into a campervan on the logbook.
Most insurers will expect a certain minimum height, fixed furniture, and a safe setup for cooking, washing, and sleeping. It’s always best to check with your insurer before starting the build to avoid issues later. Once it is classified as a campervan on the log book you can avail of cheaper tax and insurance.

A full build includes electrics, insulation, plumbing, carpentry, and ventilation. Each element has to work safely and efficiently together for a van to be truly road-ready.

We require a small deposit up front, then, after finalising the design/layout we require 50% of the cost before the conversion begins, and 50% after its completed.
